Real estate developers Globalworth and Global Vision are negotiating with the Belgian group WDP for the sale of three logistics parks they jointly own in Romania, according to sources in the market, a transaction that will represent the exit of Globalworth from the Romanian logistics market.
Linia Wood&Metal company opens Linia Projects in a new 6,700 square meters leased space in Chitila Logistics Hub, a project developed by Global Vision in partnership with Globalworth. The industrial park has a total area of more than 77,000 square meters and features extensive storage spaces, customized production facilities, and modern office spaces.
CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has acquired from Globalworth, the leading office investor in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), an industrial portfolio of 270,000 sqm GLA and 30ha landbank in six key locations in Romania.
The developer Globalworth has announced that it is selling part of its logistics portfolio in Romania to CTP. The value of the transaction could exceed EUR 170 million. Globalworth has announced that it is selling five logistics parks, with ten facilities in Timișoara, Arad, Oradea and Pitesti that it owns 100 percent. The majority holdings in two other small projects in Bucharest are also sold.

Mediapost Hit Mail, the largest direct marketing company in Romania, has leased 19,000 square meters of space including warehousing and office area in Chitila Logistics Hub, the industrial park developed by Global Vision and Globalworth. In this modern space being part of the park located near the Bucharest ring road, the company will operate logistics and e-commerce services for companies in the retail, FMCG, energy and services sectors.
Elektrokontakt Romania (EKR), a subsidiary of ELEKTROKONTAKT GMBH, is the new tenant in Mureș City Logistics, the most modern industrial project in Mureș area. This milestone achieves a 100% occupancy rate for the strategically located facility developed by Globalworth and Global Vision, leading players in the real estate market in Romania andCentral and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Globalworth Industrial, Globalworth’s logistics and industrial sub-brand, is expanding its portfolio by purchasing, together with Global Vision, an industrial and logistics project with a total land area of 37.9k square meters in Târgu Mureș.
