„The investment in Romania is part of a company’s integrated project which includes the development in Galaţi of a processing factory for raw materials resulted from recycling (plastic and glass). The total value of the two projects (Tecuci and Galaţi) will reach EUR 80 million and will create a total of 145 new jobs”, shows a press release published by InvestRomania, company which offered assistance to the Spanish SWT in the development of the project.

The investment of SWT Investing SWT aims the achieving of a complete recycling system, which has been patented throughout Europe, including a station of integrated sorting, treatment, recycling and recovery of waste, intended to produce electricity and heat, with a processing capacity of 200,000 tonnes per year of waste collected. The technology used by the Spanish company does not involve using water in the treatment of waste, aspect that simplifies the whole process.
