Final talks between Dambovita County Council and the owners of Arctic Găeşti Group are underway and at the end of March the leadership of the group will formally present the project draft.

 

The new plant will be built on 76 ha land that the company owns in Ulmi. The plant will be delivered in 2019 and should employ 2,500 jobs. Located in Găești, Dâmbovița County, Arctic is the largest Romanian household appliances producer and one of the largest refrigerator producers in Europe.

 

The company was bought in 2002 by the largest Turksih household appliances manufacturer, Arçelik. The company produces 2.6 million refrigerators per year from locations in Russia and in Turkey, while some Beko fridges are built in Arctic plants. (sursa: cijjournal.com)
