For an investment between EUR 325 and EUR 425 for the construction of a square metre of industrial facility, excluding the costs of the plot acquisition, the logistics sector has attracted therefore investments exceeding EUR 130 million last year.

"Overall, last year in Romania were delivered projects totalling 344,000 sqm, with 195,600 sqm in Bucharest. Over this area, 141,000 sqm were built in new projects, while the expansions of the existing parks have exceeded 203,000 sqm", says Andrei Drosu, senior research consultant JLL Romania.

Those having delivered most of the industrial spaces in 2016 were P3, the owner of P3 Logistic Park in Bucharest, the largest industrial park in Romania. P3 has delivered last year 90,000 sqm.
CTP has also delivered 81,000 sqm in several projects in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Piteşti.
The retailers have rented last year logistics facilities of nearly 186,000 sqm, the expansion of their logistics activity being a consequence of the continuous growth of their store network. (source: zf.ro)
