The total value of those projects in development in Bucharest and the rest of the country is EUR 140 million, a record value for the local market.

The most important four developers whose investments will lead this year are investors already present in the market:  CTP, P3, WDP and Logicor, being at the same time among the most important operators in Europe.

Czech developer CTP has in development 163,000 square metres within its parks owned in Bucharest and Timisoara. Overall, the projects in CTP ongoing portfolio in Bucharest total EUR 60 million, according to Ziarul Financiar.

WDP, Belgian market leader and an important European player in the sector of development and renting of logistics and industrial spaces, will deliver this year in Romania more than 90,000 square metres of logistics spaces within five projects.

The top of the developers building projects from scratch this year, as well as extensions of existing projects, also includes Logicor, one of the largest logistic real estate specialists in Europe.

„We see a growing interest for Bucharest, where all the developers of industrial and logistic spaces present have additional land for developing future projects. Also, the major cities in the country are attractive destinations for investment, but depending on the demand, developers go to other cities in the second echelon, such as Profi, in Roman“, says Costin Bănică, head of industrial agency within JLL Romania.
