The investment in the new production unit exceeds EUR 20 million, according to the local press. The factory will have nearly 130 employees.

„The new factory in Sibiu, Romania, will be specially designed for manufacturing commercial cooling systems and will allow us to meet the growing demand for such units, energetic efficient and silent“, said Robert Gerle, managing director of Gunt­ner in a press release.

The decision of production in Romania comes in the context of reaching their maximum capacity at the Tata factory, in Hungary.
