At the local level, H.Essers has 850 employees and reports a turnover of 60 million Euros and the new investment creates 285 additional jobs.

In 2013, the company inaugurated a logistics warehouse of 33,000 sqm near Bucharest, and subsequently acquired another 150,000 sqm of land in the area.

The new warehouse, scheduled for end-October 2017, is built according to strictest safety rules.

For H.Essers, this warehouse complex represents the international growth of the company, and this location functions as the second largest office to simplify further integration and strategic plans with reference to Eastern Europe, while also functioning as a hub with Central Europe and Turkey. Over 180 people work in this branch.

H. Essers, a Belgian-based group founded in 1928 by Henri Essers, currently has approximately 83,000 square meters of logistics space in Romania, in Bucharest (33,000 sqm), Oradea (46,000 sqm), Sibiu (2,000 sqm) , Roman (1,000 sqm), Timişoara (1,000 sqm) and an intermodal platform at Curtici. As a storage area to date, H. Essers is in the top three in the logistics sector. Among the largest logistics and transport companies according to the surface of leased or owned warehouses are Tibbett Logistic, DSV Solutions, XPO Logistics or FM Logistic.
