“Within Renault Group from Romania we have all the car activities, as well as an important suppliers network. Romania is the only country where the Renault Group gathers all the activities and this is why the exchanges between France and Romania are so important. We invested EUR 2.4 billion since 1999 (…) and important investments are already planned for the following years, both for the factory modernization, as well as for renewal of the products range, “ said Caracatzanis, who will be a speaker at this year’s edition of French Investors Forum.

He added that he presented to the prime-minister a series of figures that prove that Dacia is the biggest Romanian enterprise from the turnover point of view. It represents 3 percent from GDP and 8 percent from Romania’s exports, but the discussions were also about aspects of interest for the foreign investors.

„The discussions were about important subjects for us and for the economic activity, as well as for the development of new cars sales, the competitiveness promotion and measures that stimulate investors and the overall economy, such as infrastructure and keeping the Romanian talents in Romania,” concluded Caracatzanis.
