The investment would create around 130 jobs. The company will try to get state aid for the future investment, reports local Wall-street.ro.

 

The project needs to be approved at group level.

“The decision is not yet signed. In early 2017 we will be certain,” said Teschner.

 

Saint-Gobain entered the local market ten years ago and has invested EUR 180 million in its local factories so far. Close to 500 people currently work in Saint Gobain Romania’s factories and about 60% of the local production goes to export.
