The higher turnover of industry was based on the 2.9 pc advance of the processing industry (+2.9pc).

By main industrial groups, increases in turnover were seen by the capital goods industry (+8.1pc), the durables industry (+6pc), the intermediate goods industry (+4.4pc) and the consumer goods industry (+2.1pc). Decreases were recorded in the energy industry (-19.6p).

In August 2015, the total turnover in industry dropped by 15.4pc from the previous month, due to the decrease in the processing industry (-15.8pc). The mining industry rose by 0.5pc. (source: nineoclock.ro)
