The new production unit in Berca is one of the four production units specialized in brick production and plays an essential role in ensuring the supply for the eastern and southeastern market of Romania, which represents more than 30% of the total market.
The reopening ceremony took place on Monday, September 16, on the factory grounds, located in Sătuc village, Berca commune, Buzău county.
wienerberger's investment of more than €25 million, using its own funding, in state-of-the-art technology significantly improves the quality of life, ensuring the highest quality finished products, as well as better working conditions for factory employees.
In addition, the bricks produced offer excellent thermal insulation and increased energy efficiency, reflecting the company's commitment to sustainability. The new production technologies at the wienerberger brick factory in Berca reduce carbon consumption and emissions by more than 30%, thus contributing to environmental protection.
The raw materials used are carefully selected to ensure sustainability and minimize environmental impact, thus contributing to the harmonious co-existence between industry and nature.
