The investment will reach EUR 150 million and will create 450 new working places, being carried out during a year.

The project aims to build a MDF production plant (Medium Density Fibreboard is a material used in the furniture industry, of higher quality than PAL) and the investment will be further developed by the production of laminated doors and laminate flooring. Products produced at the factory are expected to be delivered both on the domestic market and on export.

The representatives of Yildiz Entegre estimate that about 80 pct of the products will be exported. To complete the project, Yildiz Entegre acquired a land of approximately 46 hectares.

Until now, the Turkish investor has worked in Ilfov County. Yildiz Entegre is one of the world's largest wood chip manufacturers with a production capacity of 8,500 cubic meters per day. The company is headquartered in Kocaeli, Turkey. The furniture market in Romania, estimated at 700 million Euros in 2015, includes players such as Lemet, IKEA, Casa Rusu, Mobexpert, kika and Elvila.
