The company SCA Hygene Products, through which the Swedish group operates in the local market, has in plan an investment project in Romania, involving the construction of a series of production facilities as well as equipment acquisition in Prahova county, according official documents.

 

The total value of the project is of nearly 94 million lei (EUR 21 million), with 42 million lei state aid requested, but rejected by the Government.

The 30 files rejected by the Government from a total of 36 investment projects also included Romanian businesses, such as AdePlast or Teraplast, as well as international ones, such as De’Longhi, Tymbark Maspex Romania or Saint-Gobain.

 

Officials of Zewa didn’t comment the subject, saying that they don’t want to comment for the moment the procedure and results of the selection. They didn’t say if the investment is still on and didn’t disclose any details about it. (source: zf.ro)
