The average net wage in Romania was RON 2,108 (EUR 469) in October, up by RON 14 or 0.7% compared to the previous month.

Wim Bosman Romania becomes Mainfreight Romania, posts 13pct turnover increase in first nine months of 2016

Logistics service provider The Wim Bosman Group officially announced that the organisation is going to change its name to Mainfreight as of December 2016. For the first 9 months of 2016 Mainfreight Romania posted a turnover of 52 million RON, up by 13 percent year-on-year and doubling the profit achieved in the same period.

EC approves phasing of major infrastructure projects in Romania

Seven major infrastructure projects, which Romania should have completed during the 2007-2013 financing period, have received the greenlight from Brussels to continue receiving funds from the new EU budget so they can be completed.
