Alza and Mall expanding logistics operations in Czech Republic

Czech e-retailers Alza.cz and Mall.cz are reportedly expanding their logistic centers around Prague. Mall.cz is currently leasing 15,500 sqm of warehouse space in Prague Horní Počernice and plans to add further 7,000 to 8,000 sqm by summer.

Dan Sova: We will start working on the Sebes-Turda highway on May 10

Industrial production prices down 1.1 pc

Industrial production prices were down 0.3 percent in March in Romania, month-on-month, and 1.1 percent year-on-year, according to data from the country’s Statistics Institute (INS).

The Sibiu-Pitesti highway will be ready by 2019

The Sibiu – Pitesti highway in Romania will be finalized in two stages, partially until 2017, and completely until 2019, said the Transport Minister Dan Sova. The segments connecting Sibiu to Boita and Pitesti to Curtea de Argeș and Ramnicu Valcea will be ready in 2017, the minister said, who emphasized that ‘nothing has ever been done about this highway in Romania’.
