INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, the leading private equity fund in the Baltics, has signed an agreement to acquire shares in Pehart Group, a leading producer of household and industrial paper products in Romania and owner of the oldest paper factory in Romania with a 187-year tradition.
TeraPlast Group’s results in the first quarter of 2024 exceed both the budget and the previous year’s performance, driven by streamlining the activities in each business line and organic growth alike. Positive contributions to the Group’s results were brought by the start of production at the Opal stretch film factory and the integration of Palplast’s operations in the Republic of Moldova, the recently acquired company.

Work at Ghimbav is expected to be completed by the end of 2023, and will support customers’ sustainability goals as well reducing carbon emissions on site.
Lödige Industries, a leading provider of logistics systems, is significantly expanding its capacities in Brasov, Romania. Plans call for a near doubling of the production area to more than 4,000 square meters. Additional office and sanitary facilities are also being built. Construction has begun at the end of the first quarter of 2023. Production operations in the new building are expected to start as early as the end of this year.
