Symmetrica, the local market leader in vibropressed concrete pavers and kerbs and the largest domestic manufacturer, announces the launch of a new production unit following an investment of €7 million. The new factory, located in Ovidiu town, Constanta county, is the company’s new manufacturing unit and the first in the South-East of the country.
Lödige Industries, a leading provider of logistics systems, is significantly expanding its capacities in Brasov, Romania. Plans call for a near doubling of the production area to more than 4,000 square meters. Additional office and sanitary facilities are also being built. Construction has begun at the end of the first quarter of 2023. Production operations in the new building are expected to start as early as the end of this year.
Knauf Insulation, one of the largest manufacturers on the market of insulating materials, part of the Knauf Group, started the construction of the new production unit in Târnăveni, which is to be completed and put into operation in 2024. PepsiCo announces a 100 million USD investment in three new operational production lines and a new automated warehouse, automation capabilities, and a new master plan at the Popesti-Leordeni factory. The investment is to be completed by 2024, resulting in doubling production capacity.
