Holcim Lafarge merger rejected by Holcim’s second-largest shareholder

Russian businessman Filaret Galchev, who owns a 10.8 percent stake in Switzerland’s cement producer Holcim has rejected the takeover offer that France’s Lafarge has made for Holcim, a Swiss newspaper quoted by Reuters reported on Sunday.
