HIT Park (Hemeius Information Technology) is a project promoted by Bacau County Council, one of the 128 local and regional infrastructure projects, financed by the European Union and the Romanian Government through Phare CES.

The idea of opening a business park in Bacau came into our minds after realizing that, in many cases, the foreign investors are disappointed and give up their plans of investing in Romania because they do not have the necessary infrastructure facilities.

HIT Park has been completed in the summer of 2005. This IT&C campus is meant to stimulate the local and regional field business and connected industrial activities, to support and encourage the entrepreneur spirit among the specialists, to attract strategic investors that can develop specific projects, to develop the specialized educational system on all levels.

Since its opening HIT Park attracted investments of approximately 7.000.000 €. The companies located at HIT Park invested, from their own resources, in diversifing and enlarging their production volumes as well as in new constructions, warehouses. The local investments were not just financial, the continous development required also labour force, thus creating jobs for the local community.
