How did your company emerge on the market? What was the market context then?

Compania DDD was born in 2011, from a personal experience that made me understand the acute need for professional services in the field of disinfection, disinfestation and rodent control. In 2009, after buying a house for my family, I discovered that the house was infested with rodents.

I initially tried the classic methods, using the "Holy Broom" in the hope that I would solve the problem quickly, without scaring my pregnant wife, who had a deep fear of these creatures. When my solutions did not yield results, I turned to a specialized company, but I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism: I did not receive a warranty, nor a tax invoice, and the efficiency of the services left much to be desired.

That's when we realized that there was a gap in the market in terms of providing quality sanitation services. This was the moment when I decided to establish Compania DDD, with the mission of providing clients with professional, transparent and efficient solutions.

 

What do you think are the most important changes during this time? How has your company adapted to them?

In recent years, we have seen a significant increase in awareness of the importance of sanitation services. Customers have become more informed and demanding, looking for personalized and professional solutions. Competition in the field has increased, leading to the need to differentiate through quality and innovation.

In order to adapt, we have constantly invested in the professional training of the team and in obtaining the necessary certifications. We obtained all the mandatory diplomas and certificates issued by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Education. In 2018, we accredited Compania DDD according to the European CEPA standard, which allowed us to offer services at the highest European standards. We also represented Romania at the CEPA meetings in Brussels, contributing to the development and implementation of the best practices in the field.

- Disinfection: We provided disinfection services for medical institutions such as the Dimitrie Gerota hospital, contributing to its release from quarantine during the pandemic.
