Romanian industrial production up by 2.7 pct in August compared with 2015

The industrial production increased by 1.8 percent in the euro area in August 2016, compared with August 2015, due to production of durable consumer goods rising by 4.9 percent, capital goods by 2.6 percent, intermediate goods by 2.0 percent and energy by 1.5 percent, while production of non-durable consumer goods dropped by 0.1 percent.
