The organizers of the largest transport and logistics exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe (TransLogistica Poland) enter Romania!
The Polish exhibition annually attracts around 300 international exhibitors and almost 10,000 professionals.
The total volume of investments on the real estate market in Romania was 566.9 million euros in the first six months of 2022, of which 476.9 million euros in the last three months, according to a study conducted by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance. The German manufacturer of insulating materials Knauf will invest 200 million euros in Romania. The company plans to develop two new production facilities for drywall, metal profiles and insulation materials.
CTP is developing a 98,000 sqm logistics park across the road from Expo Arad, with the possibility of expanding in the second phase of the investment. The park will serve some of the most important carriers in Europe. The construction permit was recently issued, the company also receiving the last approval required to start work.
With approximately 0.5 million sq m under construction and 44% of the area under construction being already pre-let, the modern stock of industrial spaces in Romania reached 5.9 million sq m in the first semester of 2022, according to the Romania Industrial Destinations research special report, launched by CBRE Romania.
The increase in construction costs represents the biggest challenge of 2022 for 90% of the real estate companies in Romania and in other countries in this region of Europe, according to the Deloitte Real Estate Confidence Survey for Central Europe 2022, conducted in the second quarter of this year in Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
