The company will pay an annual rent of nearly EUR 300,000.
The new contract signed with Aquila will increase with nearly 10 pct the annually net revenues obtained by SPDI from rents.
Innovations Logistics Park was completed in December 2008 and includes nearly 16.570 square metres of multifunctional warehouse spaces, with one third cold warehouse and the rest including ambiental storage area and offices. The transaction recently signed brings the occupancy rate of the entire ambient warehouse section of the Terminal to fully let, with the other 3,870 sqm leased to two Romanian companies producing and selling Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) Europe-wide.
The logistics park includes four warehouse buildings, with two cold spaces.
Apart from Innovations Logistics Park, SPDI owns in Romania assets of some tens of millions Euros, including several apartments in residential complexes Romfelt Plaza, Monaco Towers, Blooming House and Green Lake, all in Bucharest, the office building EOS Business Park – headquarters of Danone, the building of Praktiker store in Craiova and a quarter of the office building Delea Nouă in Bucharest, headquarters of ANCOM, as well as a plot of land on four hectares near Pantelimon Lake.
In the end of last month, Aquila bought from the British investments fund First Property Group a warehouse in Ploiesti, a transaction with the value of nearly EUR 3.2 million. (source: Secure Property Development and Investment)
