After the completion of the works and the installation of the fourth line, the new factory, which covers an area of 18,000 sq m, will reach a daily capacity of 15,000 sq m, resulting in a 30% increase in the company's total production.
"The Bolintin Vale factory project involved the integration of state-of-the-art, highly performing equipment to support both efficiency and the development of our premium product range. We are now in the final stage of this process, the first three lines have been put into operation, and after the installation of the fourth, scheduled for summer this year, the production unit will become fully functional, contributing to the development and consolidation of Symmetrica's position on the local and regional market," said Sebastian Bobu, Executive Director of Symmetrica.
In addition to the four high-tech production lines, the factory will also integrate equipment for special treatments, surface processing and splitting of concrete blocks. The energy efficiency of the production unit will be supported by two photovoltaic parks, which will cover approximately 60% of the required consumption, reinforcing SYMMETRICA's sustainability objectives.
The development of the Bolintin Vale factory involves an investment of approximately 50 million euros, covered both from own funds and through bank financing.
The Suceava-based manufacturer announced in the fall of 2023 the launch of premium collections under the Symmetrica Select range, thus marking an important step in expanding its product portfolio and consolidating its presence in the residential segment.
“Despite the challenges in the residential sector, we observe a clear trend towards higher quality products, with consumers becoming increasingly attentive to sustainability, aesthetics and innovation. This consumption behavior provides us with solid premises for the development of the premium range, and our estimates remain positive regarding the demand for Symmetrica Select collections. We believe that this orientation towards premium solutions will continue to consolidate, even in a more challenging economic context”, said the CEO of Symmetrica.
With a presence on the Romanian market for over 30 years, Symmetrica has established itself as a leader in the production of concrete pavers and precast products through a sustained development strategy and constant investments in the expansion of production capacities. Currently, the company owns nine concrete pavers and precast plants, as well as a unit dedicated to industrial equipment, all supported by investments of over 135 million euros.
Last year, the company reported a turnover of 317 million lei (63.7 million euros), marking a 22% increase compared to 2023.
