JLL represented Arcese Transport, a transport and logistics company, in the lease of the additional space in the WDP park in Dragomirești, reaching at 11,000 square meters spaces occupied in the project.
Through this transaction, Arcese, one of the largest transport companies in Europe, reaches 16,000 square meters of logistics space in Romania (Dragomirești and Cluj).
"The very good relationship with WDP was the basis of Arcese's decision to expand its operations in the Dragomirești logistic park. Also, given the vulnerability of the economy during this period, flexibility is very important in a business contract and in this case also played an important role. The expansion comes at a difficult time from an economic point of view and shows once again that the industrial and logistics market continues to grow in order to meet the need for consumption ", said Mihai Escu, senior consultant Industrial Department JLL Romania, who represented Arcese in transaction.
Arcese has been present in Romania since 2011, when it initially started its activity on the transport market and later expanded its business in the logistics segment.
"The clients in our portfolio are growing, they are developing their operations, so we need additional space to offer the flexibility characteristic of our company. Despite the unstable period, Arcese is constantly developing and open to new partnerships," said Marius Buturoaga , CEO Arcese Transport.
WDP Park Dragomirești is located in the western part of Bucharest, with direct access to the ring road. The park belongs to the Belgian developer and operator of industrial spaces WDP.
"WDP permanently supports the activity of the clients in the portfolio by accommodating their expansion needs both in the already occupied locations and through the acquisition and opening of new logistics hubs throughout Romania", said Dana Bordei, WDP Commercial Director. (source: JLL)
