Entering the Romanian market in 2010, Blachotrapez produces tile roofs and roof accessories from ThyssenKrupp at the Baia Mare factory and has an annual production capacity of 3 million square meters. Blachotrapez ended last year with a turnover of 10.5 million euros, up 35% year on year.

 "We have experienced steady sales growth in Romania, and expanding production is the next natural step, as the entire roof market is booming. The new production hall will be completed next year and will create new jobs and more than a doubling of production capacity, "said Jaroslaw Turczynski, CEO of Blachotrapez Romania.

Blachotrapez Factory in Baia Mare manufactures roofing materials and facades and additional tinsmith accessories for the Romanian market (mainly), Hungary and Bulgaria. In Romania, the company has its own retail network through 21 subsidiaries, and Blachotrapez products are in around 250 wholesale distribution points.

 Established in 1995 in the Polish town of Rabka Zdroj, Blachotrapez continues the activity set in the 1970s by the spouses Jan and Teresa Luberda. (Source: profit.ro)
