The Fuel Supply commercial unit, part of the division Continental Powertrain plans to compress its high volume production of fuel pumps in Europe, and for this reason it has decided to open the Ghimbav-based plant.

The products manufactured at this facility will be supplied to various car factories located across Europe. “Since Brasov is our main production unit in Europe, we shall work closely with Dortmund and Bebra. Dortmund is our global competence center for the development of new technology and processes related to the production of fuel supply units, while Bebra is our competence center for fuel pumps. The new facility will be the first integrated unit of Fuel Supply in Europe,” said Markus Distelhoff, the director of the Fuel Supply commercial unit. (source: nineoclock.ro)
