ACI Cluj ended 2014 with more than 200 employees and could reach this year approx. 500employees, according to the company’s expansion plans.

The project for the construction of the factory and the acquisition of new equipments and technologies for the ACI production base in Cluj were co-financed by EU funds.

The total value of the project is nearly 15 million lei (EUR 3.4 million), with over 5 million lei EU grant.

The company’s portfolio also includes Salina Turda, in Cluj county, Cluj Arena, several office buildings, industrial and hydro-technical constructions, installation works as well as a panification factory in and the frozen goods warehouse Macromex in Câmpia Turzii.

Last year, ACI won in association with the companies Electromontaj and Nord Conforest a contract exceeding EUR 9.5 million for expansion works at the industrial park Tetarom I, in Cluj.

Also in Cluj, ACI and the company Prompt from Timişoara are constructing the second building of the office project The Office, developed by the investment fund  NEPI and the businessman Ovidiu Şandor, a building scheduled for completion this year. (Source: zf.ro)
