Among EU members, the construction works have increased in nine countries and decreased in four countries, while in the Netherlands they remained stable.

Romania occupies the first place in EU also regarding the annual growth of the construction works, in July 2013 being registered 14.2% growth compared to July 2012. Meanwhile, the construction works in EU have registered 1.1% fall, and in the euro zone 1.2% respectively. Only six EU members, including Romania, registered a y-o-y growth in July.
