Balasz Hopka, Emerson SRL’s head has declared that the new investment is represented by two centres insuring engineering services and assistance for European control systems and automation projects, as well as a production warehouse designed for the manufacturing of the flow measurement instruments, which will offer calibration, services and training.

Emerson produces in Cluj-Napoca pressure regulators, monitoring and flow insuring products, flow and density measurement devices, control and automation systems, energy generators, electrical equipments for photovoltaic energy units and operation systems.

Emerson opened in 2007 the first production unit in Cluj-Napoca, investing over EUR 75 million ever since, in the development of the production capacities. Emerson was founded in 1890 in St. Loius, Missouri, and had in 2013 overall sales of 25 billion dollars. (source: wall-street.ro)
