For the divisions Leroy-Somer and Control Tehniques of Emerson in Romanian currently work a total of nearly 365 employees, in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea.

„Emerson’s operations in Oradea will be fully transferred to Nidec, the new owner of the two factories“, the Emerson officials have declared for ZF Tran­silvania.

Nidec has recently taken over the electrical engines ANA Imep in Piteşti ( Argeş) from the Copos family, in a transaction estimated between EUR 10 and 20 million.

Emerson has opened this May its factory in Oradea, the second production unit owned by the Americans on the local market, after the one in Cluj, the investment reaching nearly 25 million dollars. (source: zf.ro)
