In August the industry’s turnover went up by 9.3 percent compared with August 2015, the highest growth rate from the last two years, says News.ro.
The turnover’s industry grew by 3.9 percent in the first nine months of this year compared with 2015.
The highest growth was registered in September 2016 compared with 2015 in wide goods industry, while the extractive industry continued to decline.
„The industry turnover grew overall by 4.2 percent in September compared with September 2015, as a result of the growth in manufacturing industry (4.8 percent). The extractive industry dropped by 18.2 percent,” says the INS report.
On the big industrial groups, the durable goods industry grew in September by 14 percent compared with the same month of 2015, the capital goods industry grew by 10.8 percent, the FMCG sector grew by 8 percent and the intermediary goods industry grew by 0.4 percent. The energy industry dropped by 27.7 percent.
The INS data shows that the highest turnover increase in September was registered at the paper manufacturing (25.2 percent), carbon extraction (22.9 percent) and the road transport cars manufacturing (14.2 percent).
