Located in the Floresti-Gilau industrial park in Cluj county, the new space will enable Mobilier1.ro to sustain its development plans for the following three years, Urbano Parks said in a press release.
Business growth has made necessary larger spaces, where Mobilier1.ro can have all conditions to process orders on time, while ensuring both the security of human resources and goods. Mobilier1.ro has similar warehouse spaces rented in Bacau, Timisoara and Bucharest.
"In the current context, the need for class A industrial spaces has not decreased, but on the contrary, the need for spaces with well-defined flows and increased security for the cargo and the people has become increasingly relevant and obvious," Urbano Parks co-founder Daniel Paraschiv said, adding he is confident that the new space will enable Mobilier1.ro to increase its product processing capacity by over 25% without making new hires, by significantly reducing the time of processing from truck to warehouse and from warehouse to distribution vehicles.
Mobilier1.ro is part of the Furniture.eu group, an online retailer of furniture and accessories, with over ten years of experience in the European market.
Urbano Parks real estate investor group was established 20 years ago by local entrepreneurs Mircea Ilea, Alexandru Serban and Daniel Paraschiv.
In February, the group announced it is investing 14 million euro ($15.2 million) in the logistics park located in Romania's northwestern county of Cluj.
