The maritime traffic totaled 17.3 million tonnes, whereas the river traffic reached 5.7 million tonnes, reports local Agerpres. Maritime shippings increased by 13% year-on-year, whereas river traffic went up by 42% year-on-year.

The cereals traffic in the Romanian ports grew to 8.6 million tonnes between January and May, from 4.14 million tonnes in the same period last year. The oil products traffic increased to 2.2 million tonnes. (source: Romania-insider.com)
