On February 7, the Sibiu Environmental Protection Agency issued an environmental permit for the Sibiu - Făgăraș Highway. The total length of the route will be 68.05 kilometers and will be divided into four sections. The new highway will also be connected to DN1 with a 5.65-kilometer connecting road.
