The credit was approved in early March and is used to build a new corrugated board in Popeşti-Leordeni, Ilfov County, which will cover an area of about 3.4 hectares.

The project will be completed by the end of 2017, with a total investment of 27.5 million Euros.
"It is a milestone in the evolution of our group in Romania: building a new larger factory with optimized spaces around the technological flows, installing modern equipment and, implicitly, getting an improved working environment", said Rossmann Romania’s General Manager, Paul-Henri Kohler.

Romcarton is the first manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging in Romania and has clients mainly in the food and consumer goods industry. The company currently owns a factory in Bucharest, on Theodor Pallady Boulevard.

The company is owned by the French group Rossmann, which also owns the Ambro Suceava plant in Romania. Rossmann operates 25 factories worldwide, including 22 in Europe and 3 in Africa, with a production capacity of 500,000 tons of corrugated cardboard and 300,000 tons of paper. (source: profit.ro)
