Tranzit Magazine organizes ExpoTranzit between 21st and of 23rd of April in Cluj-Napoca (Grand Hotel Italia), an important transport and logistics fair, doubled by an intensive conferences program, business meetings and two gala dinners, with the occasion of 15 years anniversary of the magazine.
Apart the extensive offer presented by the truck, semitrailers, vans, buses and forklifts importers, the transport companies have the possibility to get informed regarding the new European laws and explanations for the frequent controls of the German, French and Belgian authorities applied on Romanian carriers, during three conferences themed on transportation management.

On 21st of April the transportation companies could meet their clients in automotive segment. Matthias Honold, owner of the German logistics company Honold Logistik and associate of Dietrich within one of the most successful logistics company in Romania (Dietrich Honold Logistics), will speak about trends in automotive logistics and Adrian Crizbăşianu (DB Schenker) will highlight the role of the automotive industry for the Romanian economy and as well for the transport and logistics industries in Romania. The automotive panel will be completed by other case studies and a talk on the regulation of the express transportation with 3.5 t vehicles, increasingly frequently developed especially in the automotive industry, with the contribution Ion Clenciu (Vectra Logistic), Alexandru Petrescu (Add-Vice Motors), Zsolt Gogucz (Kefren Expres), Dan Foarce (Atlas) and Tibor Dobe (Innight).
TAPA EMEA President at ExpoTranzit
On 21st of April, in partnership with TAPA EMEA, the European organization for freight protection, solutions will be analyzed for transport companies to avoid stealing from trucks and to obtain well paid contracts for the transport of valuable goods.
The president of TAPA EMEA, Thorsten Neumann, and another TAPA member, Rein de Vries CPO, Senior Security Manager European Operations, Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics, will offer answers regarding special case studies. Aquila Prod Com and H.Essers will share their experience as TAPA certificated companies.
The Romanian Police will also be present, represented by Daniel Biro.
Three experienced managers debate the cost/km
Lucia Apostol (Dumagas Transport), Decebal Popescu (Cartrans) and Mircea Mănescu (Ahead Logistics) will hold a cost/km seminar in the second day of the event (22nd of April) including not only the increase/decrease rations, but also a set of recommendations for efficiency measures for each cost segment.
What are the challenges faced by the international carriers?
On 22nd of April maybe the most expected conference for the transporters will be organised, relating to the problems in international transportation, such as the minimum wage in Germany, France and Austria.
Andreea Suciu, LL.M., Noerr lawyer specialized in Labour Law, will offer a view on the new European law project regarding detaching personnel and how this will influence the payment of drivers.
A panel about the problems in CMR and Cargo insurances will add to the freight transport conferences program.
E-commerce and urban development lead to a new revolution in the distribution of food and pharma goods
Together with AROLAFrig, on 22nd of April, the manufacturers, distributors and logistics services suppliers for food products will talk about the new industry trends.

Last day of ExpoTranzit is dedicated to the employment opportunities in Romania and abroad in transport and logistics
The discussions will aim labour law aspects, a case study made by HART Consulting, a presentation of the challenges and satisfactions of the logistics job made by the manager of the Kaufland logistics platform in Turda, Dan Dehenes, as well as talks with university professors in the field of transportation and logistics.
Sandor Gabor (IFPTR) will talk about the relationship between the employee and employer in transport companies, while Driver Identification Database will present the importance of hiring drivers on the “white list”, a reference document for a lot of manufacturers and distributors of electronic goods, which do not accept anymore but drivers registered within the DIDb.
