The second segment soon to be completed is the motorway from Orăştie –Sibiu, on 24.1 km, to be opened together with the nine km of the Sebeș city ring road.

Lugoj – Făget, the first segment of Lugoj-Deva motorway, has  27.6 km, crosses the valley of Beghei, few km North of Lugoj, starts near Sanoviţa  and ends East from Traian Vuia, where crosses the national road DN68A.  The works started in June 2011.

Both segments are part of the 4thPan-European Corridor permitting the high speed crossing of Romania from Nădlac to Constanţa, a 710 km route. The works have 85% EU finance, the rest being supported by the State budget. (source: economica.net)
