Swedish group Zewa, one of the well-known paper manufacturers worldwide, a giant with EUR 12 billion business and 50,000 employees, plans the development of a factory in Romania, in Păuleşti, Prahova county, a project with a value of nearly EUR 21 million.
Faurecia opened in Ramnicu Valcea a plant for automotive seat covers that is expected to equip with upholsteries 280,000 cars in 2016 only. The factory, representing an EUR 12 million investment, became the company’s fourth in Romania, alongside those in Talmaciu (Automotive Seating, covers), Craiova (Emissions Control Technologies) and Pitesti (Interior Systems).
