The real estate developer from Cluj-Napoca, Urbano Parks, consolidates its role in supporting the logistics sector by starting the collaboration with Sameday, the Romanian courier company that has registered the most spectacular growth in recent years.
In the first semester of 2021, 360,000 square meters of logistics and industrial spaces were leased, a 21% increase compared to the similar period of the previous year, according to the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consulting company. 200,000 square meters were transacted in the first three months of the year, while developers closed transactions for spaces with a total area of 160,000 square meters in the second quarter.
CTP leased a 9,000 square meters (sqm) warehouse in CTPark Sibiu to A&D Pharma, a subsidiary of Dr.Max Group, which owns the pharmacy chain with the same name. The strategically positioned industrial park, situated in the centre of the country has a built area of 20,000 square meters in 2 distinct buildings and a development potential of over 100,000 square meters.
Starting with June, Chitila Logistics Hub, a project developed by Globalworth and Global Vision, has a new tenant: Alliance Healthcare Romania, a national pharma distributor, with a leased area of 2,300 sqm.
CTP, the largest owner and developer of logistic and industrial real estate in Romania, continues its long-term partnership with MSL Logistic, a company that provides services for the pharmaceutical sector, which has expanded its leased space within CTPark Chitila by an area of 6,660 m2.
Global Supply Chain Leader, HAVI Logistics joins the Chitila Logistics Hub’s industrial community, a project developed by Globalworth and Global Vision near Bucharest. Here, HAVI will open its largest distribution center in Romania on a total area of 21,000 square meters which will include temperature-controlled spaces, storage and offices.
Corteva has pre-leased approximately 23,000 sq m of industrial space in a built-to-suit warehouse located in the north-east of Bucharest and developed by Lazar Real Estate, part of International Lazar group. The transaction was advised by CBRE.
In a transaction worth 18 million euros, two industrial parks located in western Romania add to the portfolio of logistics and industrial properties of Globalworth, the largest office owner in the country and one of the major players in the industrial space market. The acquisition was made from the giant's industrial development partner, Global Vision.
