WDP Romania, a developer of logistics and industrial spaces, has under construction warehouses with an area of over 180,000 square meters in several cities in the country. The investment in these projects amounts to 133 million euros.
Globalworth announces the signing of a strategic partnership with CATTED for the light industry and logistics area, mainly focused on the “small business units” segment. The partnership, with Globalworth as the majority shareholder, initially involves the acquisition of a land of approximately 45,000 sqm in Ștefănești, ideal for a logistics development, as well as the takeover of a small business units logistics project previously developed by CATTED in Chitila.
Caroli Foods Group, the market leader in meat products, with a profile factory in Pitești, partners with Globalworth in Pitești Industrial Park, a project developed under the umbrella of Globalworth Industrial. The area of the warehouse that will serve Caroli Foods Group throughout Romania is approximately 6,800 square meters and the lease agreement was signed for a period of 10 years.
The Belgian developer of logistics spaces WDP, with significant investments on the Romanian market, has completed investments of 69 million euros and is working on projects of 92 million euros. Romania continues to be one of the company's important investment hubs.
Global Vision will start an investment of almost 70 million euros this year in Bucharest Airport Park near Otopeni Airport to attract both SMEs and a potential cargo terminal in the future, according to zf.ro
This year, WDP invested 14 million euros in the acquisition of land in Romania, in Dragomireşti and Ştefăneştii de Jos, according to the company's financial report. Another investment is a 60,000 sq m plot of land, in Timişoara, an investment of 5 million euros, near the Sport Mechanical Workshop bicycle factory.
Starting with June, Chitila Logistics Hub, a project developed by Globalworth and Global Vision, has a new tenant: Alliance Healthcare Romania, a national pharma distributor, with a leased area of 2,300 sqm.
Global Supply Chain Leader, HAVI Logistics joins the Chitila Logistics Hub’s industrial community, a project developed by Globalworth and Global Vision near Bucharest. Here, HAVI will open its largest distribution center in Romania on a total area of 21,000 square meters which will include temperature-controlled spaces, storage and offices.
