Romania, among EU states where industrial output dropped in October

Industrial output descended in October by 0.3 pct in the European Union (UE) and by 0.1 pct in the Eurozone (EA 19), compared to the previous month, shows data published by the European Statistics Office (Eurostat).

Freight traffic in Romanian sea ports up by 5.35 pct on 11 months

Cereals traffic from Constanta port exceeded during January-November period the registered record of 2015, amounting to 18.51 million tonnes compared with 18.02 million tonnes at the end of November 2015, while the total freight from the Romanian sea ports registered grew by 5.35 percent, according to the National Company of Sea Ports Administration.

Japan's Asahi to pay 7.3 bln euro to AB InBev for SABMiller's CEE business

Investment fund EEP sells its only property in Romania

Eastern European Property Fund Limited (EEP), a real estate fund registered in Guernsey, a small island in the English Channel, has sold its only property in Romania, namely the logistics and business center in the Gara Progresul area in the south of Bucharest, for EUR 1.5 million. EEP hasn’t revealed the name of the buyer.

Turnover in industry has grown 3.8pct in the first ten months of 2016, as compared to the similar period of 2015, in nominal terms, according to a release sent on Monday to Agerpres by the National Statistics Institute (INS).
