The contract for the execution of works was signed this month between Bistriţa City Hall and the constructors’ representatives, the duration of works being of 12 months.
„On an area of approx. 30 hectares we intend to develop through this project the economy of the city, to increase the standard of living and to create new work places’’, has declared Ovidiu Teodor Creţu, the mayor of Bistriţa.
The companies in Bistriţa-Năsăud county registered a turinover of EUR 1.9 billion, less than 1% of the total business of Romanian companies.
The average net salary in the country is 1,248 lei (EUR 280), half of the salary in Bucharest.
The project of the industrial park has received financing through the Regional Operational Program 2007-2013.
The company ARL Cluj registered in 2012 a turnover of more than 135.8 million lei (EUR 30.6 million), a net profit of approx. 9.5 million lei (EUR 2.1 million), with an average number of 307 employees. (source: zf.ro)
