The starting price for the auction exceeds EUR 21.5 millions excluding VAT.
Avicola Crevedia entered insolvency in 2014 and went bankrupt in the end of last year, as the businessman controlling the group, Rami Ghaziri, was sent to trial for tax evasion of 107 million lei.

The competitive public auction Dutch style is adjusting the price sale up and down considering the request and offer.
Such type of bid is used when there is a very large batch of identical products, not to be bought by a sole participant, but by more, in different quantities, the offers being sorted by prices in decreasing order.

The bankrupt company’s sale includes its central headquarters in Crevedia (land with constructions), the slaughterhouse, the chicken farms and the feed factory.
Founded in 1959, Avicola Crevedia owned the first chicken farms in Romania, being the largest in Eastern Europe. IT was bought by Rami Ghaziri in the ‘00s, through its company Agroli Group. (source: profit.ro)
