Kaufland, tha biggest player on this market, also has the largest warehouses area, of 190,000 sq. m, the logistics facilities being situated in Ploiesti and Turda, in order to better serve the over 90 stores all over the country.

While Kaufland developed its own warehouses, France’s Carrefour chose to rent spaces within logistics projects, the most important platform of the company, exceeding 40,000 sq. m, being situated at the exit from Bucharest towards Pitesti.
