Romanian Viorel Ciocoiu, representing the Department for Foreign Investments and Public Private Partnerships unveiled the advantages of certain businesses in Romania to the Chinese investors.

 

 He cited the strategic location of Romania as a Black Sea and Danube River country, the low labour costs, the low taxation as compared to the countries in the region and the existence of various state aid schemes and schemes offering incentives to the foreign investments.

 

On the other hand, Romanian Health Minister Nicolae Banicioiu and Chinese Health Vice Minister Ma Xiaowei signed on Saturday, at the Academy of the ‘Prof. Dr. Matei Bals’ National Institute for Infectious Diseases, the first agreement on health and medical sciences cooperation between the Romanian Ministry of Health and China’s National Health and Family Planning Commission.
