The industrial production (unadjusted series) has increase in the first quarter following the manufacturing industry growth (11.7%) and of the electric and thermal energy, gas, warm water and air conditioning supply (1.4%). The mining industry has decreased with 0.9%, a press release of INS showed.

In March 2014, the industrial production has increased compared to the previous month both as unadjusted and adjusted series with 6.8 pct. and 1.1 pct. respectively.

 Compared to the similar month of last year, the industrial production has increased with 10.8 pct. as unadjusted series and 11.6 pct. as adjusted series on working days and seasons. (source: dailybusiness.ro)
