Otopeni Warehouse and Logistics SRL is a logistics property, and the buyer is a company owned by the owner of Suvari clothing stores, Ismail Coskun.

"The sale value of the property was 5,750,000 euros, and NEPI Rockcastle was assisted in this transaction by Cushman & Wakefield Romania", NEPI Rockcastle representatives told Forbes.

The motivation behind this transaction is that NEPI Rockcastle's strategy focuses on the development and management of shopping centers in Central and Eastern Europe, "and this property was not part of the group's strategic development portfolio", said officials of NEPI Rockcastle.

According to the latest financial results published in February 2024, the Group's property portfolio, as of December 31, 2023, is worth €6.9 billion and comprises 2.2 million square meters in nine countries in Central and Eastern Europe .Currently, NEPI Rockcastle's portfolio of logistics properties in Romania also includes a warehouse located in Râșnov.
