Funding will help increase competitiveness of ‘green’ companies, or help existing companies get greener, as well as support entrepreneurship into ‘green’ projects.

The total amount available for these projects is of EUR 21.6 million, out of which EUR 19.4 million for individual projects, and EUR 2 million for small grants. Up for funding will be any projects related to the development, implementation and investment in innovative environment technologies with low impact on the environment, ecological products and services, waste management.

So far, 85 projects were submitted, and the value of required financing for them is two times higher than the funding available in the project. (source: Romania-insider.com)
