Road carriers are accusing authorities and the Ministry of Transport, in particular, of refusing “to accept constructive dialogue.” They say they “can’t understand and can’t accept the government’s illogical explanation as to why it has inflicted this abuse” of introducing an additional excise tax on fuel of 7 eurocents + VAT.

 Road transporters are also discontent with the fact that, even though they will have to pay additional taxes, the government chose to build highways “outside the commercial transport routes and corridors,” which will “most likely be subject to taxes.” (source: nineoclock.ro)
